Knife Party is back with three new tracks and their VIP remix of ‘Internet Friends’ in The Haunted House EP.
I’m drawn most to the ‘EDM Death Machine’ which is satirical of the stigmas of EDM like dropping the bass and doing the harlem shake while also calling out internet friends and antidote as well. When the robot is done powering up, the track hits you with waves of mechanical bass.
‘Power Glove’ has a gladiator / coliseum feel to it, listening through it makes me want to shuffle but with enough force to break something. ‘LRAD’ is another reason why we’re all so attracted to Knife Party, the house sounding drop is unexpected and nothing like the other tracks.
Expect these tracks to takeover the festival circuit the same way that Rage Valley did last summer. Buy on iTunes.
