If Koan Sound were a stock, their arrow would certainly be pointing up based on what they’ve done in just the past few months. From touring with Bassnectar in the fall while releasing their “Sanctuary” EP, to headlining a U.S. tour of their own – set to embark this April, it’s a wonder how these two have had a chance to breathe. Oh yeah, they’re also coming out with their “Dynasty” EP, which is set for release on April 1st via OWSLA.
Very chilled out vibes from beginning to end and plenty of the trademark Koan Sound drums make this a perfect track for hanging inside on a rainy day. Songs like this make you remember that many times it’s not a “drop” that we’re all waiting for. Sometimes a beautifully produced track suffices just fine to kick back and listen to.
