At around 100 bpm I guess this track would fall into the “glitch hop” category, but my feeling is that it’s more of a funkstep / jazzstep tune. Regardless, KOAN Sound proves that they are master technicians when it comes to producing music. The breakdown has 20’s ballroom parlors written all over it.
