The 9 track compilation includes the recent original release titled Come and Get It plus 8 remixes of Alive and Killin’ It from the likes of Dj Kalkutta, Dirtyphonics, Chuckie, KillaGraham, Jakob Liedholm, Mutrix, Stephen Swartz and Pegboard Nerds.
Rather than sit here and nitpick at the simple tendencies of each track, I’d rather keep it short and sweet so you can just listen instead because in fact, each remix is wonderful in one way or another. Getting grouped together as one gives you the opportunity to straight stream and draw your own vibrant conclusions.
One track in particular deserves some mention and due diligence in my opinion though. The DJ Kalkutta + Cash Cash remix of Alive takes the crown with that gorgeous melody and it’s aggressive strings of electro. Simply described: harmonic heat that makes me happy and want to fly at the same damn time…or maybe just smile and dance. You get it though, that close your eyes and lose yourself in the moment kind of magic.
