One of our favorite groups out of Colorado, Krooked Drivers, just provided the world with a dosage of the bass blues yesterday via an interesting remix of DMX’s “Where The Hood At” featuring vocal and instrumental cuts from blues’ legend Albert King. The remix effortlessly blends the smoothness of King with the callous approach of DMX, creating a very interesting mix up of the two. However, Krooked Drivers meld the two together in this remix so well that it almost seems like they were meant to be together (could you imagine if Albert King and DMX had a child?!) All of this combined with Krooked’s wicked flow and ripping production makes this an all-around great remix. Grab it for free below and enjoy.
