Capturing easy summer vibes easily in one tune this week is Junge Junge, who have just released a new bit for Ultra Music. They present “Tick Tock,” an original single from highly rated singer and songwriter Kyle Pearce, which they have made their own in a strong reworking.
Its simplistic yet tuneful melody isn’t at all lost here; merely made more powerful and soulful by the addition of a simmering beat and light dashes of percussion to provide further layers. The blend of guitar and vocal riffs are smooth and fluid – joining the tune and rhythm together seamlessly.
