Laidback Luke is one of few popular DJ/producers that is actually keeping the oldschool skill and technique of DJing alive. On a mainstream level the art seems to be lost, unappreciated and drowned out by the focus of big drops and A.D.D. mixing. Regardless, the focus here is on Laidback Luke and the effort he puts forth in the club on a regular basis.
Last night, April 11th, LBL preformed in Philadelphia and had a member of his management – at least we assume – record a short Instagram clip of him flawlessly displaying his talent. The video is captioned “Shutting haters up, pre-recorded sets my ass. #MuchLovePhilly“. We’re not sure who’s trying to call out Luke for playing pre-recorded sets… but it’s clear that they didn’t do any research. Try not to drool.
