In an effort to build a platform for up and coming artists to catapult their careers, Laidback Luke just launched Ones To Watch Records, a subdivision of its MixMash mothership last week. The new record label will tune fans into fresh talent as it emerges and give the artists the one on one attention they need to boost their careers.
“We’ve got so many amazing tracks by a lot of new and incredible talent that’s out there,” he said. “OTW offers a stepping stone to Mixmash for those talented producers out there. My focus for Mixmash, and now OTW as well is to have a proper platform for them. We started with OTW to make way for new and upcoming artists and to give them the push they need to accelerate. With OTW we can focus on each individual release and offer each artist a great start of their career.”
Ones to Watch has definitely hit the ground running by releasing both ‘Koala’, an EP by the Dutch DJ/Producer duo Blasterjaxx and also the ‘Hands Up’ EP by Jonathan Pitch less than one week after their official launch so you can expect to see big things from them in the near future.
