Lane 8 Announces his Second Album ‘Little by Little’ Along With First Single and 2018 World Tour

Lane 8 has just announced his second solo album Little By Little, along with the first single “No Captain“, featuring POLIÇA and 2018 world tour dates. Lane 8 has been keeping very busy, as the announcement comes on the heels of his first label compilation album Root To Branch, which showcased three new talented artists to the This Never Happened label Lane 8 has created.

The Denver based producer, label head, and DJ has curated a special set of tracks that he was inspired to put together from late 2016 until now, and those 10 sure-to-be incredible tracks will grace the airwaves January 19th, 2018. Lane 8 had to say about the album…

Over the past two years I’ve waited for a certain feeling to return – the feeling that I was ready and excited to write an album again. As it happened, at the end of 2016, we finished an incredible first This Never Happened tour shortly before welcoming our daughter into the world. As 2017 began, I found myself really driven to create album #2. Throughout this year, I found a lot of joy in focusing on each little task achieved, each small accomplishment that pushed me one step closer to the goal of making another album – another experience – that I was really proud of. In a way I think that’s what this album is all about – taking the time to appreciate each small step in a larger journey.

Little By Little will bring fourth the euphoric sounds Lane 8 has gripped fans with, a declamation of textured and melodic synths, sometimes traversing into electronica, instrumental club epics and left-field pop moments.

Releasing this album as well on his imprint This Never Happened, Lane 8 has also released his lead single “No Captain” featuring Channy Leaneagh of POLIÇA. “No Captain” is a flowing dreamy track with Channy Leaneagh enchanting us with her soft vocals leading into the subtle synths dropping in and out. With this kind of heavenly introduction of what is to come, Little By Little is promised to be another gorgeous journey into the beautiful sound design and musical story Lane 8 so eloquently pours his heart into making and showcasing. The Little By Little album tour will begin January 25th and span through early May, hitting stops in the UK, Canada, and all across the states.
