Home Las Vegas Guide for EDM Fans

Las Vegas Guide for EDM Fans

Las Vegas offers an unrivaled nightlife experience for electronic dance music fans. It has the biggest nightclubs, best pool parties and all of the most popular DJs in the world have a residency at one of the clubs in the city. You won’t find another place like Vegas in the world.

If you’ve never been to Vegas before, it can be a lot to handle. We created this guide to help you make decisions on things like the different nightclubs to go to, hotels & casinos to stay at and whether you should go VIP or not.

You have to dress to impress.

While you may be able to get into your local club with a t-shirt and flip flops, it won’t happen anywhere in Las Vegas. For guys this means a collared shirt, fitted pants and dress shoes. Girls have a little bit more leeway here.

Drinks will be expensive.

Unless you live in a major metropolitan area like New York, Los Angeles or Miami, you’re probably not familiar or prepared for the shell shock when you get your tab at a club in Vegas. Be ready to pay $12 or more for a beer, $25 for a Redbull Vodka and so on. It’s fun partying like a rockstare, but it always comes at a price.

There’s going to be a line and a cover.

For guys and even girls sometimes, there will be a line to get into the club and it might move painfully slow. Managers like to pack the club early and can only let people in when other groups leave. You can avoid the line by signing up for VIP Access or Bottle Service.

Vegas has something that’s your style.

Whether you want to hit the dance floor, chill-out in a cabana all day or sip champagne in an ultra-lounge (club without a dance foor), Vegas has it. Even at night there are outdoor areas at almost all of the clubs and sometimes they include pool access.

For parties or celebrations, go VIP.

If you’re traveling to Vegas in a big party or celebrating a special occasion, then you should definitely go with a VIP Experience. You’ll be assigned your own personal concierge who will take you to the different nightclubs, bars and casinos. You won’t have to wait in any lines or worry about getting things setup. Everything is taken care of and the only thing you have to do is let loose.

Vegas does it bigger than you’ve seen.

Every time that I go back, I’m amazed by the level of production that goes into each night at the different clubs. Not only are you seeing one of the best DJs in the world, but the service is usually impeccable, women beautiful and the booming sound is crystal clear. It’s unreal and why I always get so excited to go back.

Tickets don’t guarantee entry.

If you purchase a ticket to a DJ at the club, this does not guarantee you entry. If the club is packed at capacity and they are unable to let anyone else in, you will be stuck waiting in line with everyone else. Even if you have tickets, you cannot get in front of the people in line who do not. If you are with a group of males, the doorman may not let you all in at once unless you are paying for bottle service. This is to manage the guy to girl ratio and please the high rollers and VIPs.

Top Rated Las Vegas Nightclubs / Dayclubs

1.) Hakkasan Las Vegas

Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino is the bold evolution of the prestigious global restaurant brand into an all-encompassing nightlife experience. This unique convergence of dramatic design, modern Cantonese cuisine, world-class mixology and exclusive musical talent collaborations across numerous genres creates a nightclub and restaurant concept historic in scale and ambition.

2.) Light Nightclub

Designed as an experience to tantalize all five senses, LIGHT offers far more than the traditional nightclub. Entering the realm of the unknown, each guest who experiences LIGHT will instantly become part of the interactive show. The chic, fashion-forward 38,000-square-foot venue features high-tech production and theatrics, as well as world-renowned DJs and performers who will turn on a new kind of passion and creativity, redefining a “night out.”

3.) Marquee Las Vegas

At other nightclubs you might feel the urge to game plan your night, but at Marquee you should fight that feeling. With three distinct rooms and an attached day club with outdoor gaming, your night could be limited by imposing a game plan.

4.) XS Nightclub at The Encore

Beyond the 13,000-square foot indoor area, XS opens up to a 27,000-square foot pool area reserved for hotel guests during the day and at night gives the club space for an additional 26 cabanas where bottle service is available.

The dance floor itself is almost 1,100-square feet. VIP booths surround the dance floor are made with gold-embossed crocodile skin. Everything about this club stands up to the name, XS.
