Basshunter, who is wildly known for hit records such as “Boten Anna”, “Dota”, “Now You’re Gone” and “All I Ever Wanted,” planned a United States takeover tour with one of the first stops landing in New York last night. The bill hosted an impressive list of young names including Luminox, Ookay, ZAXX and more. We weren’t there, though, from the tweets and videos we’ve come across on the internet we can’t help but determine that his set was awful.
It has been reported by ravers straight from the dance floor that the Swedish singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ absolutely train wrecked his performance. Rumor has it that Basshunter was “a little” too drunk and on top of that very disrespectful. Below are a few of the many tweets we’ve read and one fan goes as far as to say that her childhood is ruined. Our pals Heroes x Villains even tapped into the conversation saying “man, this Basshunter show sounds so epic. He performed the same song 4 times in 30 minutes and got kicked off?? yo im done.”
After exploring Vine and Instagram we’ve come across these videos of Basshunter acting outlandish on stage. He did everything from yelling at his manager behind the decks to awkward dance moves and burping on the mic…
