Alex Medellin aka Late Night Radio has earned a well-deserved reputation for crafting classy electro soul music, and he’s keeping it up with “Spread The Goodness” which he dropped today through Soundcloud. He began the song years ago, and recently re-flipped it. It’s the first track off his upcoming Backlog collection, and apparently there’s more soon to come.
LNR can make beats with the best of producers, and on this tune he uses a half-stepped break beat which begs you to bust the freshest of moves. His bass modulation is beginning to sound signature, and that wobbling, sawing synthesizer of his shines in “Spread The Goodness”.
With so many producers making electro soul music it’s becoming more and more important to have a sound which is distinct, and LNR certainly does. Catch him spreading the goodness on tour with Marvel Years this fall.
