Lektrique’s brings a distinct 80’s synth vibe to his now-released Kannibalen Records EP Turbo / Neon. The two-faced bass EP is channeled through clever production and ever-present themes, two releases and one instrumental being the bulk of the experience. “Turbo” is the darker and heavier of the two, with the retro-synth worked revealing itself toward the end. “Neon” has a mid-tempo feel and vocal focus that introduces a new vibe, also acting as a natural feeling closer to Turbo / Neon. The EP is over in a flash but each single stands out with it’s own set of powerful positives.
