Lespecial Releases Music Video for “Ransacked” and Announces Northeast Tour

The lespecial boys have teamed up with Knowledge Knights and Space Jesus to deliver future groove with some extra narrative through the medium of film in their latest music video for their new song “Ransacked”. You may recognize the Knowledge Knights from “The Weed” video that Space Jesus did a few months back and if you enjoyed the eccentric imagery portrayed then, you will love this latest collaboration.

The band released a statement for the video saying, “Three boys set out on a mysterious quest, to steal sandwiches from beautiful ladies and fulfill the wishes of an ancient bass genie. They are the Out Here Boys. This is the story of ‘Ransacked’…” which should be all the explanation you need.

The song reflects the tone of the video, with spooky guitar riffs, groovy basslines, and eerie synths over a snappy percussive backing. Just when you think you grasp the concepts of the track you’re hit with a slowed breakdown of fat synths (courtesy of Space) punctuated by the visuals of Space Jesus holding a smoking sandwhich while little kids dance around him. His outfit is reminiscent of Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail but, like most Knowledge Knights videos, I have absolutely no idea whats going on.

You may recognize the headress that Space Jesus was wearing, which was provided by the Reliquarium (the same guys who did the stage design for Lespeshtivus) and I’m happy to have finally solved the mystery of what Jasha was doing in that picture. Check it out below
