While there have been numerous cancellations in the Northeast lately, this Life In Color postponement has absolutely nothing to do with the tragic events that have been happening. The show scheduled for September 20th, has to be rescheduled because of construction delays at the venue.
It seems late to make this announcement, but regardless they are working diligently to add another date and provide refunds to those who would rather get their money back.

Due to construction delays at the Fluid Event Center, Life In Color Champaign on Friday, Sep 20th has been officially postponed.
This situation was out of Life In Color’s control and we sincerely apologize to our fans for this inconvenience. The Fluid Event Center is not ready to open due to construction delays and therefore we can not host our event at this venue on the original date.
Life In Color is working hard with the venue and our local partners to reschedule the show. On Wednesday, September 18th we will provide final information on the details of this event as well as refund information.
Again, we are extremely sorry about this situation and please be patient while we finalize all details over the next 48 hours.
In other LIC news, their first ever music festival comes to Washington D.C. this Saturday.
