Lights All Night, Dallas’ premiere electronic dance music festival will switch back to a two-day format and take place December 27-28 at the Dallas Convention Center. The hours have been extended for this years festival as each day will run from 4PM – 2AM. Tickets for Lights All Night 2013 go on sale this Friday.

If there were any sort of pain point for the festival last year, it was the ending time. By moving out of Fair Park and into the Dallas Convention Center, Lights All Night can avoid the downtown Dallas noise ordinance laws and keep the music going until 2 AM. Fans can also go the festival over the weekend and make separate plans for New Years Eve.

Last year the dates lined up for LAN to take place over New Years Eve, but switching the format and location makes the festival even better. A lot of people were hesitant (at their loss) to commit to a three day festival for New Years, but a weekend festival when everyone is home on winter break, well we’re expecting it to be nothing short of epic.

The Lights All Night lineup has not been released yet, but if it’s anything like last year they will have the top names in dance music. Since they’re not competing for New Years Eve spots where DJs make a ton of money, it will be even bigger this year.
