It’s that time of year again, and along with all of the neon tank shirts and kandi-clad ravers, festival season brings about a slew of new tracks ready to send throngs of attendees into a frenzy on the dance floor. Fittingly, Lil Jon, the notorious Grammy-Award winning rapper who has also established himself as a key figure in the electronic music scene, has just joined forces with up and coming French producer, Freaky Bass to deliver an animated tune entitled “Rager Day”.
Suitably accompanying the vocals, this track competently provides everything dance music fans they would expect to hear from a fun and rowdy Electro-House track, it being loaded with bright synth stabs, a simple, yet catchy melody on top of a grinding bass line, as well as a powerful and punchy kick. Still riding on the wave of success from his anthemic collaboration with DJ Snake, “Turn Down For What”, it seems as though festival-goers can expect to hear a profusion of Lil Jon’s exuberant vocals in the sets of various DJs and over the next few months.
