Showing a powerhouse display of intense nostalgia and cutting-edge production with his brand new release is UK artist, LINK. Out now through Welcome Records, Turbo comes as a six-track package with firm roots in the British rave scene of the late nineties and early noughties.
“I fell in love with the rave records I was hearing growing up as a kid in England, and the Turbo EP really sums up all of my influences,” says LINK. He combines three new bits with three previously released sounds of the past year or so, and you can hear smatterings of trance, rave, old school and high-octane future bass throughout the singles.
Our favourite has to be the epic “I WANT YOU,” and it will transport you right back to a grimy dance floor in no time. The producer concludes: “I feel like good music has a part of a person in it, and with each track I collected and syphoned my memories and feelings and put them into them.”
