Kaskade’s own label Arkade has released Lipless’s new EP, a thought provoking, fun adventure, all expressed through 95% instrumentation only. Wake Up Call EP by Lipless. Lipless may not have the most familiar name, but certainly showcases key signs that prove this artist is one to watch out for. Just this year, Lipless released an official Kaskade remix that received well over 600K plays on Spotify alone.
His new three-track EP features one tune that makes you feel great – the more pop-based “Give Me A Sign” featuring Georgi Kay. The next two are 2 introverted, deep focus-style house songs, “Wake Up Call” featuring Haley as well as “Two Of Us”, both relax you into a thinking mode – a good juxtaposition to an EP and enhancing to the overall experience many times over. It’s not just the songs themselves, which I’m sure were picked out from an extensive unreleased catalog, but also the order that makes Wake Up Call EP stand out.
