Wakaan label head and long standing space bass tastemaker, Martin Stääf, has successfully infiltrated the dubstep scene with his particular approach to the genre, and made his moniker, Liquid Stranger, a bass head household name. Long time collaborator and fellow Wakaan artist, LSDream, has brought his own inflection of otherworldly vibrations, inspired by elevating consciousness through the melting powers of psychedelic wubs.
Just in time for Bicycle Day (#iykyk), Liquid Stranger dropped his Take a Trip EP, featuring four tracks including “Take a Trip” with LSDream and “Holla” with Wreckno. Diving into the title track, we are met with awe-inspiring synth chords and shimmering streams of space ambience. A deep voice calls from the darkness of the galaxy, commanding us to “take a trip” with a bouncing bass synth line that builds us up until we blast off into the stratosphere.
