Lizarazo has captured the essence and the sound of what we imagine lucid dreaming would be like with his latest single. The Austin based producer has delivered with, “Delayed”, drawing us a slice-of-life reverie with a Lo-fi backdrop. From his roots of classical guitar, Colombian heritage, and a childhood based in the Middle East, Lizarazo is the best kind of a mixed bag. With his passion for audio production, he has found his niche with the fusion of Latin and electronic music while also deriving inspiration from the many family members that have shown him the world of music.
Lizarazo picked up steam in his production career in 2016, after providing support to artists such Toro y Moi, Girrafage, Tokimonsta, as well as Soulection artist DPAT. In 2018, Lizarazo performed for the Beat Cinema on a weekly basis out in Little Tokyo, L.A. Coming onto this year, Lizarazo has kept his presence known with booking performances at Austin’s famous SXSW Music Week at the WabiSabi SXSW After Party and keeping our ears occupied with tracks like “Cruisin’” and “Firestarters” that really like make his discography pop.
“Delayed” is no different. We instantly feel transported into his daydream, with wavering synths and a driving rhythm creating a perfect picture of summer days. Lizarazo partnered with artist, Lindsay Stevens, once again for her artistic vision that completely captures his vision. While we love fall as much as the pumpkin-spice addict, this latest single has us holding on just a little bit longer to summer. You can stream “Delayed” on Spotify and SoundCloud now.
