What festival do you know that’s downtown in a 319 acre urban park, has one of the largest fountains in the world, full of gardens, and right one Lake Michigan? The one and only Lollapalooza that takes place in the awesome Grant Park. But Lolla isn’t just three days of 100+ artists, it’s also 5 nights from Wednesday, July 29 to Sunday, August 2 with 50 aftershows with 100+ artists. You might as well call it another festival in itself.
From the Metro, to the House of Blues, or Aragon, these legendary temples of music will host the ultimate Lolla afterparties all weekend long. Because of the number of aftershows, there is a separate site that can be found here.
The easiest way to navigate is to use the drop-down select to either list the shows by date, aka “Upcoming Events”:
You can also list events by “Artists”:
Or you can do it via map, which will allow for you to see where the venues are in the city so you can see how convenient it is to where you’re staying so you can plan ahead:
It’s a big site, so explore as much as you can before the tickets go on sale on June 5th. Good luck and see you in Chitown!
