Drum and bass fans unite. The Nest in Dalston, London is putting on its revered Black Out party next Friday 14th July. Black Sun Empire, Dutch drum and bass group and were formed in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1997 by Rene Verdult and brothers Micha and Milan Heyboer. Critics have referred to the duo as ‘the kings of all things neuro’. The group has released five full-length albums and have operated three record labels, Black Sun Empire Recordings, Obsessions, and Blackout Music NL.
Joining Black Sun Empire will be Icicle aka Jeroen Snik who was born in Holland. Hospital Records, Soul:R, Renegade Hardware and Critical labels have worked with this artist and when he made the move to London, he was exclusively signed to Shogun Audio. Neonlight will also be performing on the night and this duo are most definitely passionate about drum and bass and have been since entering the space in 2009.
