Many dance music fans will breathe a sigh of relief when they hear that 16 year-old pop music sensation Ella Yelich-O’Connor (going by the stage name of ‘Lorde’), does not intend on collaborating with DJ/producer David Guetta, in contrast with numerous pop stars in the industry today. Lorde’s hit single “Royals” has been dominating the airwaves as of late (having already reached the #1 spot in 12 countries), and it comes as no surprise that David Guetta expressed his interest in working on a song with her. In an interview with FasterLouder, Ella was told about this, to which she succinctly answered: “No. Fuck no. He’s so gross”. However, she has conveyed that she would like to work with distinguished producer, Diplo in the future.
“You asked me a while ago who my dream producer would be, and I think these days I’m leaning toward Diplo.”
Many electronic music enthusiasts would agree that a collaboration between those two artists would undoubtedly result in something quite remarkable!
