The dreamy dance-pop duo Louis the Child are on fire. Hailing from the windy city of Chicago, that wind is blowing them across the country on their “It’s Strange” tour, fully setting them ablaze. Coined after their smash hit featuring K. Flay, the last 10 shows have sold completely out. Named one of Complex’ ‘10 up-and-coming DJs who should be on your radar in 2016’ as well as Snapchat’s ‘Artists to Watch for 2016′, it’ easy to see why they’re under the spotlight.
Dropping remixes to Ty Dolla $ign’s Blasé and my personal favorite, Body Gold, by Oh Wonder, the smooth, easy listening sound leaves you craving more. Lucky for us, they’re putting the finishing touches on their debut EP due out this spring. For those live music lovers however, 15 more cities on their tour have been added, including a Coachella debut, stops at SXSW and BUKU, and stops alongside Big Gigantic in select cities including Philadelphia, Detroit, and Minneapolis.
