Somehow I’ve missed out on this Reno-based glitch-hop duo Love and Light until recently. Comprised of Matt (aka 4Centers) and Ryan (Probiotik), they’ve cranked out numerous remixes and now 3 EP’s in their ~2 years together. Their sound is characterized “through melodic synth lines, complex chord structure, intricate rhythms, and funky, chunky bass lines.”
A buddy of mine introduced me to this jam of theirs, The Light We Bring. After hearing the smooth intro leading into the “What Is Love” sample followed by the dirty wobble-bass drop, I fell in love myself:

Galactic Booty Activation, released yesterday via Simplify Recordings, is their most polished EP yet. It showcases more of their aforementioned funky basslines, combined with truly dynamic melodies. Here is a minimix teaser of the EP that was made available for free download:
