Nevada-based glitch-hop duo Love and Light is gearing up for their biggest tour yet. Check out past posts on L&L (here & here) if you haven’t already. They’ve got a serious soulful groove that I really dig. All their tracks have great rhythm, structure, and some funky bass. This tour will be my first chance to see them live, and I highly recommend you check the dates to catch them in your city. They start in Calgary this Wednesday, cap it off in Cleveland 2/20 with Rusko, then they’re off to Costa Rica to tear down the Envision Festival starting 2/27.
Here’s a few of their recent releases. Unfortunately, you do have to pay to get the 320 for most of their tracks, but I think its well worth it. They’re one of the few artists whose tracks I actually do pay for, particularly since they’re still coming up and can use the support. Anyway, Sex Panther begins with a familiar Anchorman sample followed by a quick build to the funk:
