Trippy bass artist LSDREAM, a.k.a Sami Diament, a.k.a the trap artist formerly known as Brillz, is adding another alias to his impressive resume: LIGHTCODE.
Diament introduced LIGHTCODE via Twitter earlier today, as well as the promise of new music released on October 15th under Liquid Stranger’s new downtempo label, Sskwan. The Sskwan Twitter page simultaneously gave LIGHTCODE a warm welcome, elaborating that the first release will be an hour-long meditation piece titled THE EGREGORE. The announcement also includes a six-part meditative livestream which will take place every Monday at 10pm EST beginning October 12th through November 16th on the LSDREAM Youtube channel. The alias comes from LSDREAM’s desire to create his own original healing music for others to experience and connect with.
LSDREAM kept very active in the first few months of quarantine. He gifted us with similar guided meditation streams to help ease our quarantine stresses, and put out a three-part R.A.V.E Cave series, which included a delicious reggae edition in honor of 4/20. The LSDREAM vibe is all about finding mindfulness, spirituality, and self-discovery to the tune of psychedelic beats, so we are stoked to see where LIGHTCODE will guide us.
And not to worry, loyal LSDREAMers, this does not mean LSDREAM will go into early retirement à la Brillz, as Diament also reassured via Twitter that “LIGHTCODE is part of LSDREAM”.
