This is the second time we have featured Luke Shay on the site an this time he takes an interesting approach to a trap production. Using samples from 300, he creates something that has the ability to hype a crowd or individual up. I can see Ray Lewis blaring this in his headphones and foaming from the mouth before a game.
I love when producers take cinematic approaches to production, like Figure, and manage to connect the two arts on a similar wavelength. Trap was the perfect place for ‘300’ samples and Shay did an exquisite job mending the two and controlling the energy.
