LUZCID and Jason Leech’s latest WAKAAN offering is literally its title, “Magic”.
From Houston Texas, Neil Berry aka LUZCID has been firmly grounded in the bass world and has been enchanting listeners with his uncanny music that adds a psychedelic touch to heavy-hitting bass tracks. LUZCID has performed in almost every major city in the US and continues to spread his music to all corners. While his productions stand wholly on their own, LUZCID is more than just a DJ, he uses Ableton Live, creating a series of auditory adventures through his hip hop-esque, psychedelic bass music in which participants completely escape reality. He’s one of those artists you need to experience live to get the full picture and really feel the effects of LUCZID dreaming.
Jason Leech is a keyboardist, producer, DJ, and writer who has been studying, performing, and teaching music for most of his life. In 2014, he began experimenting with his own style of music by playing the piano over his original remixes of his favorite EDM songs. He recorded and uploaded his performances. Not long after, he began to receive positive feedback from fans and the original artists who created the music he remixed. His videos have been uploaded by artists such as Excision, GRiZ, Big Gigantic Rezz, RL Grime, NGHTMRE, ILLENIUM, Alison Wonderland, Clozee, What So Not, and many more. Since he debuted his live EDM keyboard set in 2017 for Brownies and Lemonade, Jason has opened for GRiZ, Galantis, Big Gigantic, Bear Grillz, OOKAY, Ill Gates, Fox Stevenson, Manic Focus, and more.
Much like that of LUCZID, the focus of Jason Leech for performance is transforming the way people experience electronic music, a suitable collaborator in Neils’s latest Wakaan Release, “Magic”.
Serving as the lead and title track to LUZCID’s forthcoming fall EP, “Magic” is an interdimensional visit through haunting synths and mysterious melodies. Jason and LUCZID bring you through a mystical world, from the start, the mesmerizing vocals will cast listeners under a spell made to help guide you through your dreams and desires. Knowing all that you want to achieve has been there all along, you just have to open your eyes and concentrate.

“Magic” follows LUZCID’s down-tempo collaboration with WAKAAN and SSKWAN label head Liquid Stranger, “Snow Melt.” LUZCID has also hinted toward a down-tempo EP set to be released on SSKWAN sometime later this year.
