From playing a DJ set at Coachella in 2012 to a performing a full live set comprised solely of his own music in Indio just last weekend, Madeon’s arrival at DC’s Echostage couldn’t be more timely. After producing for Lady Gaga’s Art Pop, Hugo Pierre Lelercq went to work on his own material and released Adventure just a month ago. The debut LP features a genre-spanning tracklist with touches from pop with rock vocals, to house, to more groovy downtempo tunes perfect for summer. Now 20-years-old, the Frenchman has grown his sound right before our eyes, and we can expect the production for the Adventure tour to be bigger and brighter than ever.
