Growing pains marks the last single from soloist Manatee Commune before the release of his May 3rd album PDA. The states-based artists, who is taking off on an extensive tour this spring and summer, has released 5 singles from the album thus far, “I Can Dream” and “Famous” being two covered previously. “Growing Pains” is certainly melancholy. Rhythmic percussion, quiet keys, and a mellow voice show a different side of Manatee Commune, sparking a different emotional flame within.
From alternative, folk, pop, and more, Manatee Commune translates his unique ability to fuse a clear signature sound with many genres and moods paired with it. The result is something that clicks with a large part of the people his music comes in contact with.
