Follow me and you know lately I’ve been huge on the funksoulectro stylings coming from Chicago’s very own Manic Focus. If you liked Grizmatik’s release, this track is right down your ally. Your next challenge is to peruse the young discography of MF and tell me you don’t feel the vibe. Start with his last work, ‘We Won’t Land‘, before moving to other tracks like these.
Days like this I wish I had my own venue and a couple grand laying around so I could book this kid in my own city. The sound and production has been there. Manic Focus will elicit every string of groove your body bares. My curiosity falls with his live transitions and ability to maintain a set as one. Time will tell, but I have little doubt.
