Mansions On The Moon – Darkness [Michetti Remix]

I’m sure many of you are familiar with the chillwave group Mansions On The Moon, whom we’ve covered in the past. As for Chris Michetti, you may know him best as the guitarist for Conspirator, rather than his solo dubstep producer alter-ego.

Slow and easy going intro with a little bit of glitch subtly indulges me into a trance like state – then the vocal goes “When we fall asleep” – immediately followed by a stimulation of giant bass strings and womp. In particular, I’m a huge fan of the counter transitions from chill to heavy fire. Michetti engraves his touch on the track while paying homage to the integrity of the original. Hats off for RVA.
