Mansions On The Moon – Lightyears Tour 2012 + Signed EP Giveaway Contest

Mansions On The Moon is a melodic, chillwave band from LA that blends electronic elements with live acoustic instrumentation. The Lightyears Tour 2012 touches down in 28 US cities highlighting their most recent EP ‘Lightyears’ (produced by Pharrell Williams), and finishes up with a performance at Camp Bisco in July.

Their live set is made up like this: one member on a drum set, one on keyboard and synth production, and one on keyboard and live vocals. What comes from that is an aesthetically pleasing mellow trance like vibe. We featured two of the new releases from the EP on the blog – ‘Desert Island’ and ‘Leaves Fall’ are testaments to the project as a whole.

Although the tour is already underway there is still plenty of time to catch the trio in action. WRR will be grabbing an interview on their stop in Richmond, Va at Strange Matter this weekend and you can expect an in depth follow-up post next week. If you are around come join us!
