I think Mansions On The Moon is one of the most tantalizing sounds of full instrumentation in music right now. Melodic indie chillwave sound produced/ played by four incredibly talented musicians. I had the chance to hang out and interview Lane at their show in Richmond – his knowledge and appreciation of music was so deep and dated, a truly respectable trait which clearly has a ripple effect evident through their tunes.
We’ve been covering these guys for a while now, and this is the first we’ve heard from them since ‘Lightyears‘. The lyrics are relatable, agreeable, and stated in a way that is meant to be non controversial – rather as a subliminal message through an ensemble of peaceful ambiance.
