Marhsmello is inescapable at the moment. Since his rise only a few short years ago, the helmet-wielding DJ has done all the rights of passages, from massive shows to celebrity-stabled collaborations and beyond. With all that said, it does impress us to see an artist not just soar but maintain prudent dominance on a global scale. Marshmello is one who does just that. Now Joytime III enters the picture and shapes the artists direction going forward.
The album could broadly be broken into to two areas, the familiar sounding parts and the exploratory originality found within. The overall sound that draw folks in hasn’t changed much, but the ability to output fresh, meaningful works given this introduced template is a feat in itself. The LP feels like a fluid, full album with peaks and valleys as well. Joytime III has plenty for everyone and boast an overflowing amount of replay value. Check out the album in full below.
