Many dance music fans may have been a bit doubtful when this interesting pair of collaborators announced in September that they would be doing this track together, however, from the recently-posted preview, it looks like they will not be disappointed with the result. To both the delight, and surprise of listeners, this track, entitled “Set Me Free”, is not a Big-Room House track [sigh of relief], but rather it takes on the bright, and electrifying style of House music for which Dillon Francis is often commended. While still being very typical of Dillon’s distinctive style, certain elements in the track can be undoubtedly attributed to the 17-year-old Martin Garrix, whose signature Big-Room/Electro-house sound resonates subtly throughout.
Overall, this tune is remarkably lively, and loaded with eccentric vocals and catchy, funky melodies, it is sure to be a crowd-pleaser this budding festival season. “Set Me Free” made its official debut at Ultra Music Festival this past weekend, when Martin Garrix made a special appearance during Dillon Francis’ set, evoking a generally positive reaction from the crowd:
This track will be featured on Dillon Francis’ highly anticipated album (which is set to drop sometime in July) and will leave fans wondering what else they can expect to hear from the producer/social media comedian in the near future. Check out the preview below:
