Though they say to never judge a book by its cover, we were already “Intoxicated” by the colorful confetti-like design on the cover of Martin Solveig & GTA‘s track art. Once the song hits with a vigorous “woo!” vocal chop, we already got vibes of popping champagne bottles on New Year’s Eve. It’s an exciting, lively collaboration with some dynamic brass to add some power to the track.
Additionally, the playful vocals, “let’s dance, no time for romance” is the perfect way to start 2015 on a fresh, lighthearted note. GTA’s inclusion in the song is what gives the tune a little more thump in the bass, while Martin Solveig’s light and funky sounds keep it fun.
