Last night, it was confirmed that MartyParty had completed his 16 track MVP Trap album – scheduled for tentative release on November 13th. A tweet from his manager Daysha Taylor eluded that it had been finished and sent to the higher powers before also saying that the album was “gorgeous…meant to be listened to from start to finish.” Taylor, who also manages Doom Music head man Figure, is a seasoned industry veteran who considers herself as “more of a watcher” when it comes to production and artists’ progress. Simply meaning, don’t take the words “gorgeous” lightly from her.
Regardless of critical acclaim, let’s be serious. This is MartyParty dropping a fully composed trap album. Clearly we can expect huge implications on the sub-genre and if you think it will be anything short of virtuosic, I’d challenge your vain knowledge of MP production in general.
