Meet Corey Wythe, the 18 year old University of Vermont student responsible for producing the soulful fire in which you are about to grace those unsuspecting ears. Also known as Marvel Years, Wythe was recently forced to change his name from “Wonder Years,” the moniker he had previously claimed for the majority of his humble beginnings due to some legalities.
This remix of The Who’s Eminence Front is only the tip of the iceberg and I felt compelled to include a second one of his production’s titled Where’s The Thrill, an original. Funky, soulful, hip hop infused subtle bass music which leaves little doubt in the mind of a true electrosoul fan. I ran a litmus test with a couple friends before posting and the decision was unanimous, Marvel Years had to be shared.
