Mat Zo, who has kept relatively quiet and reserved on the whole “will.I.am stealing” situation, took a clever and sarcastic little stab during his EDC Las Vegas set this past weekend. As “Rebound” began to play, Zo got on the mic and said, “Yeah….I copied this song off will.i.am.”
We just can’t get enough of the EDM community banding together in an effort to troll will.i.am (see Above & Beyond take their shot). The whole thing has turned into an inside joke of sorts, a reference that someone not paying attention to dance music might miss altogether.

Personally, I’d rather see producers call out someone who deserves it, outside of edm, rather than making distasteful accusations within the scene….we’re looking at you BT.
