Whenever we hear about a new techno collab coming from an incredibly skillful pair, we always hope the tune lives up to the hype. Last week, Matador and ARTBAT dropped their latest EP release Apollo II and all we have to say is, mission accomplished.
The two-track stunner will bring you out of this world. Out now on Matador’s imprint RUKUS, your journey with Apollo II begins slow and steady with the title track’s opening before being seamlessly propelled into the second half with “Visitor,” keeping the celestial vibes high and mighty until it’s time to come back down to earth. You can expect to hear driving, rhythmic beats with loads of drum variations, and feel plenty of beautiful ethereal moments all throughout. It’s a little slice of otherworldly goodness.
