Matoma’s Party at Your Place tour has officially kicked off and with three dates already completed, his journey is soon bringing him to Richmond, Virginia.
Our friends at A.i. are bringing Matoma to Kabana, a rooftop venue recently opened this summer. They kicked off the summer with a performance from Rozes, if you missed it check out our review here, and are closing out the summer with an artist known to really give the crowd a great time.
While there’s a good chance he’ll be spinning some of our favorite original tracks including his latest release “False Alarm” with Becky Hill, if his performance is anything like the last one he gave in the DMV at A.i.’s pop-up event series, from what I can remember, we’re in for quite a treat. Matoma’s energy can fill up a room in a matter of seconds and between him and his special guests, you’d be crazy to miss it.
Joining Matoma on this stop is Steve Void, Deep House artist responsible for the Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” flip you probably couldn’t get enough of as well as remixes of Oliver Heldens and Shaun Frank’s “Shades of Grey” and many more. While this artist is just beginning to show us what he’s all about he’s a great pairing to the headlining artist.
Last but not least, BAYNK will be joining the two. This New Zealand native compliments Void and Matoma with his array of Indie, House, and Tropical melodies. His recent remix of Gnash’s “I hate u, I love u” boasts an air of simplicity and adds a chilled out vibe to this popular track and we’re excited to hear it live.
Tickets are still available and can be purchased here grab them quick before they sell out!
