Dropping the 3rd single of 2021, Mt. Sierra may have just revealed his strongest single to date. “Stop Yourself,” is the title of his latest, featuring a well-rounded combination of genre inclusions and vocal effects. The single showcases a progressive-tech disposition, while feminine vocal aspects are blended in there for good measure. Light verses are included with an open ended design, leaving it up to the listener’s imagination to determine the meaning behind it.
Raised in El Paso but now living in Los Angeles, Matthew Sierra has a multi-faceted background within music and music industry. A DJ/producer, he’s inspired by progressive, deep, & tech-based electronic, often incorporating a blend of just this in his own music production. Often steering far away from surface level bubble-gum pop style electronic music, he goes for something that has a deeper and more meaningful angle to it, a vibe that can be felt in his 4 singles released under this alias up to this point.
