Nu-disco duo Oliver delivers a spectacular remix of Mayor Hawthorne’s new single “Her Favorite Song” just weeks before the new album is set to be released on July 16th. While the track is categorized as ‘Yacht Club Music’ on SoundCloud music, it fits more settings than that.
Oliver tranforms the original’s funk vocals into soulful verses while the smooth, soulful synths just melt overtop of the mix. It’s a throwback to a different era, an era that’s slowly coming into the mainstream and we cannot wait to see where it goes next.
