Mel Ody has had no shortage of releases in last 18 months. The somewhat new artist to the scene has released a variety of sounds, ranging from styles like future bass to drum and bass, yet all of which contain a certain color or vibrancy within them. “Horizon” teases with some familiar Mel Ody vibes, but then takes off with fast-paced percussion and a production atmosphere that intensifies the genre. The result is something memorable and attention grabbing, not a surprise from the producer who shows no sign of slowing down.
Mel Ody is based in Europe and is certainly expanding his fan reach as the solo act has opened for such names as Yellow Claw, Borgore and Don Diablo, with more names soon to be added to the list. With over a half a million streams and his brand feeling like it popped up in just a few short weeks, Mel Ody is making quick strides where it matters most.
