Earlier today this new duo known as Meowski666, which consists of Dillon Francis and Kill The Noise, released their debut single. This isn’t the first time the two have done a track together, just a year ago the they released “Dill The Noise” on Skrillex’s OWSLA imprint and it gained much positive attention.
“Meow Machine” includes a sample from the Baha Men’s classic record “Who Let The Dogs Out”, which really demonstrates the comical side in both artists. Aside from the cat noises and other foreign sounds, this track is definitely unique and new to the dance scene. I’d have to say that Dog Blood (Skrillex & Boys Noize) would agree seeing that they included “Meow Machine” in their Coachella set this year. Don’t be surprised if this newly formed group continues their efforts and turns it into something a little more official and serious.
