Commemorating tens years under the Miami Music Week umbrella (encompassing Ultra Music Festival, Winter Music Conference, and Miami Music Week parties,) the seasonal celebration of music culture and its business is only getting busier.
In the world of EDM lineups at clubs and festivals, it’s not often that just the name or brand of an artist or collective is enough on its own to draw attention. Yet, some acts have just the right amount of clout (or an overflowing amount,) where simply the names and graphics themselves speak volumes.
Here are four events at Miami Music Week 2020 not to be missed, with stacked lineups still to be attached to them.
Check back on RaverRafting for separate event coverage sharing the full line ups of each event below as they go public.

Dim Mak Miami with Steve Aoki
Owning his own label Dim Mak, Steve Aoki has been hosting his annual Miami event for most of the last decade. Altough house-leaning, Aoki hasn’t been shy about leading the heavier/darker sound of house and trap bleed through at this late night event. As someone who has personally attended the event mutiple times, the quality and consistency delivered here are like few events in Miami.
Located at a new venue, Nautilus Pool on Collins Ave. in Miami, fans and new-comers alike are interested to see how Dim Mak pulls off South Beach parties in 2020.
Brownies & Lemonade Miami
Gaining initial recognition on the west coast booking trending electronic artist more from streaming/online platforms, Brownies and Lemonade is a staple event series recognized nationwide. Having brought acts like Alison Wonderland, Alexander Lewis, Cavalier, Hex Cougar, Gravez, Luca Lush, Prince Fox and many others to the forefront of electronic music, the tastemaker-influence of B&L is one of many treasured contributions to the scene.
The below gives you an idea of the caliber of intensity and quality the organization is able to pull off on South Beach.
Diplo Presents Higher Ground Miami 2020
After much presence at Miami Music Week and Ultra over the past decade, Diplo, who is also a member of Major Lazer and Jack U, is doing things his way MMW style, announcing the Diplo Presents Higher Ground event to strong fanfare. Given the name behind the event, special guests who may come through, party favors in-house, and the full lineup are all something you can get excited about ahead of time as Diplo is one to pull out all the stops.
Heavyweight Royal Rumble
Last but not least, trap legend Carnage has multiple events happening 2020 MMW, the heavier hitting of the two seemingly being Carnage & Friends, an escapade certain to fill the night up with bass, but not too much is revealed as to what the ‘VS.’ indicates exactly in the name. Speculation from prized winnings end of night to thick and dirty B2B’s are centered around what may come of the boxing-themed night.
