Rising artist MICA has yet again dropped another release on label Suit of Bullets, “Don’t Look Down,’ this time teaming up with Vana to bring the animated release to full form. Sharing a sense of mystery through the chord progressions, the vocal work of Vana chimes in at just the right moments, a smooth build-up then comes forth and sweeps the moment up into something greater and grander. The ride is all around epic and hits the spot in more ways than one.
Following up, “I’m Not Alone,” featuring SKARBOY, MICA knows how to making riveting tracks with an emotional edge. His style being most distinct with each successive song and leads to something anticipated in the future. MICA, has an EP set to drop later this year, with, “Don’t Look Down,” being one of the singles off it.
Given the level of rich quality of this work, the EP is set to be an epic story teller and brings more definition to the talent. One can hope that this won’t be the last time MICA and Vana work together.
